My main interest is object oriented modeling and programming. To give an indication of where my interests lie, here is a list of the books I read.
Java and J2EE application servers.
Catalysis, OOSE, OMT, UML, OCL. Self-taught, mostly.

Python (non-professional: made a game)

I want to work on the front line of developments. I am the kind of person who will read a 300-page professional book in two days and enjoy it. This means that I want to work for a company that will give me the resources to do so (books, magazines, seminars, trainings).
I want to work as chief architect and developer in XP-style teams.
I prefer "application server projects", because they combine all tiers: (web) GUI, application and database.
As you can see on this site I like to preach what I practice as well. I like to teach, coach and present my knowledge to others.
The implementation language isn't an issue to me, (although I am not a fan of Microsoft Visual Basic!). It's much more important to know the concepts behind it. Java, Smalltalk, Eiffel, C++, Object Pascal and so on only differ in syntax, libraries and "tricks".
